MITSUI E&S Completes First In-House MITSUI-Everllence TCT Turbocharger

MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Takeyuki Takahashi; hereinafter "MITSUI E&S") has successfully completed the first in-house manufactured unit of its MITSUI-Everllence TCT turbocharger for MITSUI-Everllence B&W Engine. The newly manufactured turbocharger, named “TCT40” is scheduled to be installed on the 6S60ME-C10.5-EGRBP currently under production.

By optimizing the design and material selection of rotating components, the TCT turbocharger achieves superior maintainability and extended service intervals compared to conventional models. Moreover, when integrated with the advanced monitoring systems (e-GICS Advance and CMAXS LC-A) offered by MITSUI E&S Group, it enables more accurate and timely maintenance.

Since entering into a license agreement with Everllence in 1981, MITSUI E&S has manufactured and sold over 4,000 Everllence turbochargers over the past 40 years. Building on its proven track record and experience as an engine manufacturer - including turbocharger production - MITSUI E&S remains committed to continuous technological advancement and a stable production framework. MITSUI E&S will continue to support customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their vessels, from newbuilds to after-sales service.
