FPSO Kerr-Mcgee Global Producer III
General Outline
FPSO is the floating facility for production, storage and offloading of oil.
Oil in the submarine oil field is drawn from the sea bottom oil well through riser pipes to FPSO and is stored in the tanks provided in its hull after making primary process in oil treatment facility on deck. The produced crude oil is offloaded onto shuttle tanker periodically.
Main Features
- It is suitable for middle and small scale oil fields located in the distance from the land
- It is easy to relocate positions between oil fields
