Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., ("MES" with President Mr. Takao Tanaka) has established Service Companies in Doha, Qatar and Ankara, Turkey, to perform after-sales service business, which includes supply of spare parts, repair and periodical overhauling maintenance, for MES manufactured industrial machinery.

MES has supplied such industrial machinery products, as reciprocating compressor, centrifugal compressor, axial-flow compressor, steam turbine and others, to users around the world. This is especially true in Middle Eastern countries where reciprocating compressors play a crucial role in the refineries and petrochemical plants. MES has a large number of supply records in its reciprocating compressors.

These Service Companies are being planned to perform not only as a supplier of spare parts, the MES conventional business, but also as a serviced provider of maintenance work for the periodical overhauling, refurbishment and repair, aiming at retention of the existing customers to enhance MES business in the region. And such experience and know-how of the technical service of the MES machinery will also expand MES maintenance service business onto the machinery provided by other manufactures.

MES is now carrying out Mid-Term Business Plan 2014(MBP2014).The new establishment of these Service Companies is a part of the “MBP 2014” strategies, “Development global business network” and “Expand business engagement and related service business”. By retaining customers’ demand for the maintenance service of MES supplied machinery, MES is committed to expand its business now and in the future.
