Notice of Participation in Exhibition “TOC ASIA 2025”

MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeyuki Takahashi; hereinafter “MITSUI E&S”) is pleased to announce its participation in “TOC ASIA 2025”, the trade fair bringing together terminal operators and crane manufactures. The event will be held in Singapore on November 25 and November 26, 2025.

At this event, we will present our products that are actively used at ports around the world, featuring the “Zero Emission Transtainer®”, a Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell, and the “Remote/Automated Transtainer®” , which enables remote automated operation.

The “Zero Emission Transtainer”, the world’s first hydrogen-powered RTG was developed by MITSUI E&S in 2023 amid accelerating global efforts toward decarbonization. This RTG enables clean cargo handling at container terminals where ground power supply facilities for electrification are unavailable. Commercial operation began at the Port of Los Angeles in May 2024, and demonstration experiments have been conducted at Tokyo Port, Yokohama Port and Kobe Port in Japan.

“Remote/Automated Transtainer®” was invented to meet the demand for improving productivity and better working conditions. Demonstration experiments have been conducted since 1994, and a prototype was manufactured for in-house tests in 2018. We are now advancing development of an RTG with enhanced precision and operability by combining conventional technologies and AI-driven image recognition.
