On behalf of Mitsui E&S DU, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our customers, business partners, shareholders, and all other stakeholders for your continued trust and support. I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to our predecessors, whose dedication built the foundation of our company, and to every employee whose passion and commitment continue to drive our success.
For more than seven decades, we have supported the global maritime industry through the manufacture of marine engines. Since establishing a technical partnership with the former SULZER in 1948, we have continuously refined our engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities in Aioi. The technologies, craftsmanship, and spirit of quality cultivated over generations remain at the heart of our business today and continue to guide us as a member of the Mitsui E&S Group.
Our greatest strength lies not only in our technological capabilities but also in the trust we have earned from customers around the world. By combining advanced global technologies with the precision and reliability of Japanese manufacturing, we have consistently delivered products and services that meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry. This heritage provides a solid foundation as we prepare for the future.
Today, our industry is experiencing an unprecedented period of transformation. The transition toward a decarbonized society, rapid technological innovation, geopolitical uncertainty, and changing energy markets are reshaping the environment in which we operate. While these changes present significant challenges, they also create new opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth.
I believe our role extends beyond manufacturing marine engines. We are committed to supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable movement of people and goods around the world. Guided by this commitment, we will continue to create value through technological excellence, reliable products, and responsive customer support.
Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen our after-sales service, enhance our engineering capabilities, and reinforce our supply chain to ensure stable and reliable support throughout the lifecycle of our customers' vessels. At the same time, we will accelerate the development of environmentally friendly technologies, including dual-fuel engines and digital solutions, to help our customers meet increasingly complex environmental and operational requirements.
Equally important are our people. The knowledge and expertise accumulated over many decades are among our most valuable assets. We are committed to passing these strengths on to the next generation while fostering a workplace where diverse talent can grow, collaborate, and fully realize their potential. I firmly believe that the sustainable growth of our company begins with the growth of our people.
