DU-WinGD Engine/DU-S.E.M.T. Pielstick Engine
Proven and trasted DU engine
Mitsui E&S DU completed its first WinGD (former Sulzer) type two-stroke engine in 1950, and added its first S.E.M.T. Pielstick type four-stroke engine in 1965, giving it a manufacturing track record of over 50 million horsepower in total.
In response to growing global environmental awareness, we are one of the earliest companies in Japan to manufacture environmentally friendly common rail electronically controlled engines.
Furthermore, to meet the IMO (International Maritime Organization)'s strengthened emission regulations for GHGs and other air pollutants, we manufacture dual fuel engines that can also use natural gas (LNG).
