MITSUI E&S to Run a Booth at Hydrogen Technology EXPO 2023

MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeyuki Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "MITSUI E&S") will participate in the "Hydrogen Technology EXPO" to be held in Bremen, Germany, beginning on September 27th, 2023 (Wednesday).

At our exhibition booth, you can explore our essential products for realizing a hydrogen society, focusing on high-pressure hydrogen compressors and fuel-cell powered Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes (Zero-Emission TRANSTAINER^®), covering everything from hydrogen production to using.

The hydrogen market is requiring higher pressure and larger flow rate devices to cope increasing the anticipated expansion of usage in the mobility sector such as heavy-duty vehicles, ships, and cargo handling equipment etc. Adopting the KAJI's high-pressure technologies which has a proven track record at hydrogen stations nationwide in Japan, and scaling it up by MITSUI E&S' large-capacity compressor experiences, we achieved a high-pressure and high-flow compressor with superior reliability compared to the existing.

Reducing and achieving zero emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) is a critical requirement at logistics hubs such as ports. Among the equipment widely used within ports is the Rubber Tire Gantry Crane, which deploy on-board diesel generators as its power source. Therefore, decarbonization is strongly required for this equipment, and our company has developed the Zero-Emission TRANSTAINER^® that uses hydrogen as fuel, thereby achieving zero emissions.
